VALIDATION OPTIONS

 

Your validation allows you to park and lock your vehicle in a designated area at your sole risk.  An arrangement for parking does not guarantee a parking spot if the lot/garage is full.  Republic Parking does not guard or assume care, custody or control of your vehicle or its contents. Republic Parking is not responsible for fire, theft, damage or loss. If a lawsuit is filed for any casualty to your vehicle or its contents you agree to indemnify Republic Parking for any type of loss including attorney fees. This is your entire contract, and no Republic Parking employee may modify or waive any of its terms.

 

 

  1. This is a month-to-month parking agreement for the facility indicated on your application.  Prepaid coupons will expire at end of the montht it was purchased for.

 

  1. RATE ADJUSTMENTS. The validation rates are consistent with the posted rates at the facility and may be adjusted at the discretion of Republic Parking to account for a change in the market rate. 

 

  1. FACILITY PARKING RULES. Registered users are responsible for familiarizing themselves with and abiding by the posted parking regulations for the facility in which parking is purchased.   

 

  1. Licensee shall not have the right to assign or to sublease its rights, parking licensor obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the Licensor.

 

  1. TERMINATION OF PARKING LICENSE. Violations of any on-site posted regulations or stated terms and conditions may result in immediate termination of your account and validation arrangement.    

 

  1. ACCOUNT REACTIVATION. If you receive a notice for non-payment, please contact our office within 5 days to avoid accruing late fees, collection charges or termination of parking privileges.  In the event that your account privileges are revoked for non-payment you may request reactivation of your account within 5 business days of the beginning of the month.  If your account is reactivated there may be an additional $25.00 reactivation fee assessed on your account.  Requests for reactivation of account are not guaranteed and are determined on a case-by-case basis.    

 

  1. BLACKOUT DATES. (if applicable).  If your Lot is subject to blackout dates you will be provided a list of these dates in a separate document.  Parking privileges under this agreement will not be valid on designated blackout dates.  The list is subject to change without notice.

 

  1. Digital Validation Code Information. (if applicable)

 

  1. A digital code is a unique numerical code generated by REEF to be used as a digital form of payment.  Activated codes may be used as a form of validation and must be entered each time a vehicle is parked in order to avoid citation. 
  2. The maximum charge per license plate per month will not exceed the standard rate charged for a monthly parking permit for the facility in which the Digital Validation Code is used.  An administration charge of 2.5% will be accessed on all Digital Validation Code accounts. This administration chagre is not applicable to the prepaid coupons.
  3. This arrangement is exclusive to users of REEF supported mobile applications. Account set up and vehicle license registration is required prior to utilization of a Digital Validation Code.
  4. A digital code(s) will be issued as requested that must be entered into the mobile application at the time you park your vehicle. Failure to properly enter the code at the beginning of your parking session may result in a citation for non-payment.
  5. If you believe your code has been compromised, contact our office immediately to deactivate the code and request a new one. Account users are responsible for any unauthorized transactions made with compromised codes.
  6. The digital code(s) associated with your account are unique. It is your responsibility to ensure the security of the code. Unauthorized use may result in termination of this agreement and deactivation of the code(s).

If we have not received payment by the 1st of the month the code(s) provided may be deactivated and your account may be suspended and/or cancelled.  Should you be experiencing financial hardships please contact our offices to discuss options to ensure that your account doesn’t terminate due to non-payment

  1. VEHICLE REGISTRATION SYSTEM (VRS). (if applicable)

 

  1. VRS is a type of account that can be used to validate guests and employees.Account holders will be able to directly validate for their customers by logging into a website and entering credentialed license plates.    The admin can select how long to validate and give an expiration time. 
  2. The maximum charge per license plate per month will not exceed the standard rate charged for a monthly parking permit for the facility in which the Digital Validation Code is used. An administration charge of 2.5% will be accessed on all Digital Validation Code accounts billed monthly.
  3. VRS entries must be entered within 15 minutes of the vehicle parking.
  4. Notices issued to vehicles must be resolved within 15 days, even if in error or because the VRS entry had a typo. Contact manager directly for review.
  5. If you believe your login has been compromised, contact our office immediately to change the password. Account users are responsible for any unauthorized transactions made with compromised codes.
  6. If we have not received payment by the 1st of the month, the VRS access provided may be deactivated and may not be used by other account holder/s. Should you be experiencing financial hardships please contact our offices to discuss options to ensure that your account doesn’t terminate due to non-payment.  

 

  1. PAYMENTS ON ACCOUNT.  Accrued charges for the account will be billed on a monthly basis. Accounts established with credit cards on file will be billed between the 15th and 20th each month.  For accounts that require invoicing, invoices will be sent on the 10th of each month.  Account payments are required with or without invoices. 

 

  1. CANCELLATION POLICY. You must notify our office in writing to cancel your account.  You will be responsible for any accrued parking charges to your account prior to cancellation notice.  A final bill we be prepared within 30 days of your cancellation notice.

 

  1. FORCE MAJEURE.  In the event that the parking facility or any part thereof shall be destroyed or damaged by fire or any other casualty, unforeseen occurrence, or act of nature shall render fulfillment of the terms of this Agreement including, without limitation acts of God, labor strikes, lock-outs, riots, power failures and other conditions beyond the control of the parties, then and in that event this Agreement shall terminate and the amount due for the facility only up to the time of such termination, at the rate herein specified, and Client hereby waives any claim for damages or compensation should this Agreement be so terminated
